The Ministry of Finance primarily uses three tools to govern state-owned companies: the composition of the Board, auditors and transparency.

The Board of Directors reports annually through a corporate governance report, and continuously on the company’s website, on how the corporate governance is functioning and how the company is applying the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance. Orio AB was transferred to the Swedish government at turn of the year 20122013. The conduct of corporate governance of the company will therefore be summarised as a formal report starting the financial year 2013. The corporate governance for 2012 is presented only on the company’s website.
